Anomaly
"Glitches/bugs are software errors that can cause drastic problems within the code, and typically go unnoticed or unsolved during the production of said software. These errors can be game caused or otherwise exploited until a developer/development team repairs them with patches. Complex software is rarely bug-free or otherwise free from errors upon first release." -Wikipedia

About
Anomaly is the abandoned project of an unknown fighting game modder. They waited for years to be finished, but eventually had to flee the system due to a virus invasion threatening to corrupt their code even further. Once they escaped into the internet, they began searching for new friends and a new purpose. Their intense distaste for authority has made this something of a challenge, though, and they now live in the dark web as a result.
As a glitched program, they have a sort of pseudo-teleportation ability in which their form disassembles and reassembles elsewhere. They are temporarily intangible while glitching, and can phase through solid objects. Their wings are in a sort of permaglitch state and cannot be touched, though they still retain some functionality. As a game program, they can be affected by most healing items and some powerups. They also have the strength and agility of a lightweight-class fighting game character.
While not necessarily malicious, they have a deep disrespect for authority, and will make it their mission to finish any fights an antagonist may start. Their curiosity and defensive nature tends to get them in trouble with others, and they often vanish rather than solving any problems. Due to being abandoned for so long, their love language is less traditional and moreso the "insult you and give you strange gifts to show affection" variety. They show symptoms of ADHD, depression, anxiety, and an undefined paranoid psychosis.

Turbo (AU)
Best friend
In an extreme case of "right place, right time", Anomaly found Turbo shortly after he had been abducted from the arcade. He was at a rest stop, forced to wait for his captor to finish getting in contact with their connections in the dark web, when Anomaly spotted him. Curious about his out-of-place appearance, they approached him and tried to strike up a conversation. When he revealed that he was from an arcade, their curiosity peaked, and they began speaking mainly in questions. Seeing his opportunity to escape, he told them that he was being forced in place and, if they could get him out of there, he would answer any questions they had about himself and the arcade.
One moderately successful escape later, and they now live together in Anomaly's website, doing odd jobs for Spamley and committing small acts of mayhem wherever they happen to be.

Spamley
Friend, mentor
Spamley found Anomaly after they had gotten stuck in a wall. He stopped originally to express his concern, but upon seeing Anomaly free themself and dust off what would have been a terrible predicament for most other programs, he began asking questions. Upon learning that they were essentially homeless, he cut them a deal and offered them first picks on the new jobs on his website.
Anomaly has latched onto him as a mentor, and makes their living through his website. The relationship isn't entirely cold boss/worker however, as Spamley cares for them and lets them crash at his house when times get tough.

"Pride is delusional, spiteful, bitter. At its root, it declares, 'I don’t want God to be God! I want to be God! I would rather have anyone or anything be God except God Himself!' Pride is arrogant—that is, pride arrogates, it presumptuously attributes to oneself the status, rights and merits of another. It seeks to attribute divinity to the creature—which would be ridiculous, if it weren’t so deadly." -Aleteia

About
Turbo has grown much more bitter since his forced departure from the arcade. After his plan to return to power he had carefully constructed for decades not only failed, but left him disfigured and homeless, he became something of a grump. His ego is still the same, though, and the more cheerful, light-hearted side of him can easily be reached by praising him enough. His years spent in hiding have also gifted him with a decent amount of paranoia, which he expresses mainly through aggression. In all of his actions, he has the tendency to be somewhat of an unintentional goofball, and often acts in cartoonish, exaggerated ways. He shows signs of trauma from the Roadblasters incident as well as the events leading up to his death, and becomes increasingly unpredictable and physically unstable when something triggers him.
Physically, his code has fused with that of the cybug that ate him. Though he retains his intelligence and personality, extreme distress can cause him to revert to a more viral, animalistic state as the cybug half takes over. If left unchecked, he will transform completely into a cybug, and will remain in this state until someone brings him back to his senses. In this state, instances of human intelligence are rare and often highlighted by a desire to return to normal.
Backstory
In this AU, Turbo survived the events of Wreck-it Ralph, but remained stuck in a sort of "respawn stasis". Due to a mixture of his code being fused with foreign cybug code, the patch allowing him to respawn being somewhat inefficient, and the amount of dead NPCs overwhelming the system being so high, it took much longer than it would have for him to respawn. Once Vanellope crossed the finish line, the code rolled back to its original state, wiping the patch and trapping him in the respawn system unknown to anyone in the arcade.
He remained frozen in a bugged stasis state until the events shortly before the events of Ralph Breaks the Internet (AU, rewrite in progress). It had been discovered that internet denizens could hop through the wires to the arcade and vise versa. This was used by a criminal program who was looking to merge arcadian code with virus code to create something harder to detect by antivirus scanners. While working undercover in Game Central Station, they heard someone discussing the rise and fall of Turbo. On a hunch, they went to Sugar Rush and easily cracked into the code room. As they suspected, Turbo was inside, stuck in limbo.
Patching the code, they freed him from respawn. Confused, in pain, and afraid, he was forced to comply with the strange program and leave the arcade. On their way back to the kidnapper's base, they stopped to contact their connections and left Turbo unattended, knowing his fear and loner status would prohibit an escape. Needless to say, they did not expect Anomaly and their borderline obsessive curiosity to show up.

This is a list of headcanons and fun facts for this self-ship AU. There will be no particular order to these, and no consistency to the subject matter. Consider it an infodump of sorts. It will receive regular updates.

Turbo shows symptoms of ADHD. The most prominent one is that he has trouble sitting still. Anomaly likes to tease him by comparing his behavior to theirs. He hates this.
Anomaly's hands and head can be held a fairly decent distance away from their body without any pain. They use this ability primarily to grab passing cars.
Turbo and Anomaly are incredibly competitive and will try to one-up each other in even the most mundane tasks. This leads to moments like them getting stuck in the same doorway together, running into each other while rushing for the same objective, and doing ordinary tasks with extreme amounts of anger.
When eating, Anomaly's food just clips into their head never to be seen again. It doesn't necessarily have to enter through the mouth either. Sometimes the hitbox gets displaced, and they end up chugging soda through their eye.
Turbo sometimes starts coughing up black smoke when his code gets overworked. It smells like burning gasoline.
